Just set them up. Wow! They're amazing. Imaging is excellent, especially the vocals. I was worried they could not live up to the hype but boy did they and even exceeded my expectations
Caveat: I'm a novice weekend warrior. this is the first nice system I've purchased. I've toyed around with good stuff before but not audiophile level.
Decided a month ago to pull the trigger on a nice stereo listening set up. I'm limited by my room set up – bookshelf takes up most of the wall where the speakers must go and furniture very close to the limited space where I have permission (wife) to put speakers. Cardoid seemed like a good solution and allowed me to eliminate other equipment and amps.
Sent Kii an email and JB immediately got back with me and talk to me for over 30 minutes on a Friday afternoon. I initially wanted the threes but he talked me out of it and I think he was right. He put me in touch with Hayden at Vintage King (Atlanta) and I had them delivered within a week.
Right now they're set up via Wi-Fi and I'm listening through Spotify lossless. I can only imagine how much I'm going to enjoy it when I get my phono added and set up the Kii control.
Only question Right now it's the low end. It's very good and sound is true but I like it a little punchy. i'm going to play around with the tone control.
Anyone tempted, I can attest they're worth it!
