I’m mostly looking for advice here. I (22F) live with 2 other girls. We’ve been living together for about 1.5 years, and in the beginning everything was fine. In summary, me and the other girl had some arguments with our other roommate, and 6 months ago we had a conversation that maybe she should look for someplace else to live. About a month ago she started ignoring us and our group chat, and stopped doing house chores. In the beginning we agreed that one of us cleaned the apartment every week, and so she does do this every 3 weeks (it usually gets dirty after 2 days again). But things like wiping off the kitchen after cooking, emptying the shower drain when we ask her, or bringing away garbage, she doesn’t do anymore.
I don’t mind doing these things, since they only take a few minutes, but because it’s so much more now I don’t want to keep cleaning her shit.
I’m just wondering what I should do, since we already asked her about this, but she ignores us or just doesn’t do it. I could be the bigger person and leave it like this/accept that I need to do these smaller chores with my roommate, but it could be months until she finds a new place to live. I kind of don’t want to do that, but idk if it’s worth it to be petty and leave things like garbage in front of her door/ stop cleaning the kitchen in the hope it annoys her.
