Lower stance on Xfinity cars?

Is there a way to lower the stance on lionel diecasts these days? I have done it to a couple of my gen 6 cup cars and it makes them look so much better. The stance on new cup cars isn't ideal, but I can live with it. But the xfinity cars look terrible. I assume there's nothing to do to lower them without drastic measures since they're on a gold chassis (or whatever it's called)? They also look chunky compared to the real car? Is that just me? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm really keen to play Rogue Squadron II and Rebel Strike but unsure on the best way to play these days. I've done some research and have come across a few good ways with adapters. Gamecube has the kaico HDMI adapter, and the Wii has the Autoutlet HDMI adapter. I've watched a few videos online about both, but I'm undecided on which to get. Both can be an option for me as I have both consoles. However, I'm not open to buying the retrotink or carby. Those are well out of my price range for what I want at the moment.

If anyone has any experience with playing with either of these ways, I would appreciate any help with deciding which would be the best option. I just want a smooth way to play these great games again with a nice clean image quality. I'm planning on playing on a 120-inch 4K projector (if it makes any difference than a TV). I've tried emulating, and these games are a nightmare to get running well, so I'm just exploring my options with these adapters. Cheers
