I grind my teeth when I sleep but my mouth guard makes my mouth open when I sleep so I feel like my jaw line will disintegrate.

The orthodontist said to get a splint but the receptionist at the dentist like a week later said a mouth guard was cheaper and would do pretty much the same thing, so would that be better for my iconic square jaw or something else would be better.

Also my mouth guard makes it feel like my teeth don't fit together properly after I take it out.
