9.5mo not standing or babbling.. I’m very stressed about it 😓

Hello,

I’m a FTM and took my 9.5mo to a doctors visit yesterday and they told me that he is slightly delayed in regards to babbling and standing. He crawls, sits up, rolls over and pulls on his handles in his playpen to try to stand. He will sit up on his knees but if I try to get him to stand by just holding his hands he won’t. He will stand if I hold his hips. As far as babbling, sometimes he makes cooing sounds or does like high pitch screams/squeals when he is excited. He does not say mamamama or dadadadad or babababa and the doctor said he should be starting to babble. I constantly talk to him and repeat any sounds he makes to him when he makes them.

EDIT: thank y’all for your kind words and advice! I’m newer to posting on Reddit and posted this exact statement plus explaining that I had a tough birth so medical things put me on edge even more now. (They deleted it and banned me?? lol) I nearly died and had to get a hysterectomy so he’s my one shot at motherhood and I want to get it right. I truly hate myself for not advocating for myself even more so I want to make sure I advocate for him always! I made an appointment with an early development center for an evaluation to give me peace of mind.
