What is going on here
Pics probably describe this best….why do sections of my chimney look like this? (And if it’s bad, what can I do?) This is the portion of the chimney that is inside my attic.

Where do you buy your bird seed in MoCo? I’ve been doing economy version from Home Depot or Lowe’s but I’m looking for a better deal. Not looking for special seed to attract certain birds. Just really like feeding the ones in the neighborhood.
I come from an area with animal feed stores where you could get a 50lb bag of birdseed like about $7.
