Just had rewire - is this wiring standard?

I've just had a full rewire completed on my house, and noticed a couple of things that I want to check.

1st pic; Electrician was asked to add bonding to gas mains. Does this wiring look standard? As it's outside, I'm worried it doesn't look very weather-proof.

2nd pic; He seems to have bound one of the wires with duct tape. This is the other side of the wall to the gas main in 1st pic. I also asked him to replace the consumer unit, so I can't be sure if it's the same green & yellow wire for the gas mains or the C.U.. I am also expecting a meter to be replaced by my energy provider in a week, so it could be a temporary fix related to this.

The rewire has been signed off with a full EIC, so I am assuming this is up to code and I'm worried over nothing..?

I'm going to contact him asking him all of the above, but wanted to post here before asking silly questions.

Currently getting a rewire before moving into new home, and considering whether or not to put ethernet port in loft room.

Electrician has said 1x port is £100, and 2x is £180.

We would probably spend a fair bit of time up there, including streaming, WFH and possibly gaming.

We're getting a port downstairs in the living room. The broadband contract is BT, which is 900mpbs.

Wondering whether the strength would be good enough to reach up two floors, with an extender on the second floor. Or if I should just get the 2nd port .

Thanks
