First attempt at painting a necron blade

Hi

I'm painting a Deathwatch killteam, and I'm looking for comments and crticism on how I've done with the xenophase blade.

I think that here will be the best place for it.

I used a caliban green base, and warpstone glow, moot green and dorn yellow glazes. I know that the moot green glaze was way too thick and that it instantly ruined it, but it's how you get experience.

Thanks in advance

Hi

I'm having problems with my computer, and after much time spent diagnosing the issue, it seems that it's a power supply problem.

The system tends to freeze or crash when idle, but never when the PC is doing big tasks.

At this point, it's either the PSU or the CPU starting to fail, or a problem with mains power.

The latest tests I performed tend to point at a problem with my electrical outlet.
- I tried plugging / unplugging stuff, and when I did this with the power strip, I noticed a near perfect improvement in stability.
- The issue has been present with multiple power strips, including a nearly brand new one, so I rule out the faulty power strip.
- Right know, I'm testing another outlet, but it's in the same room so the line comes from the same circuit breaker, so the results might need additional testing.

My dad is an electrician, but lives far from where I live.
I'd like to get additional proof that the problem comes from mains, so that I don't ask my father to work for nothing.

What can I do to solidify my diagnostics?
After a quick search, I saw that I could maybe use an oscilloscope to check the power supply (I can probably borrow one from a friend) but there was no clear explanation on how to do it.

Thanks in advance

Hi.

I use an Audio-Technica BPHS2 headset. Recently, the microphone has stopped working. It's a dynamic microphone with a 3-pins XLR male output.

Since I don't have a second microphone or soundboard, I can't really tell which of these 2 components failed. I wondered if I could try to diagnose the problem with a multimeter, so I did a bit of googling but I didn't manage to find anything useful.

So I reluctantly asked an IA.
It told me that I should measure a resistance between pin 2 and pin 3 if I set the multimeter to 200 Ohms or 2 kOhms. When I try that, there is no continuity. IA told me that it's a confirmation that the problem comes from the microphone, and not from the soundboard.

I'm pretty cautious when it comes to using IA so, before buying a new mic, I'd like confirmation from a fellow human with better technical skills. Does this test and its result make sense?

Thanks in advance
