Sea of Thieves on Linux (CachyOS KDE)

Sea of Thieves on Linux (CachyOS KDE)

Just installed Sea of Thieves from steam, trying to play it, it launched fine, but this damn Microsoft sign in thing ain't working. It already took ages for this browser screen to load the first time I tried, and it won't even work, I enter my email or phone number to my Microsoft account, and it takes me to this, I wanna just enter my password or get a security code sent to my phone number, I think it's trying to do something proton can't do.

Does anyone know how to get past this?

(Latest Cachyos with KDE Plasma Desktop session, using latest proton-cachyos-slr.)

Are these good frame rates, frame times, and temperatures for my PC (in Cyberpunk)?

Specs:

RX 9070 XT (gaming windforce 16g model)

Ryzen 7 9800x3d

32 gb ddr5 6000 ram.

OS:

CachyOS (KDE Plasma)

Launcher:

Heroic Games Launcher, GOG version.

Resolution:

1080p (I know, this card should do much more, I'm buying a 1440p upgrade soon, I just wanted the PC built first)

Using FSR4 with the upgrade command.

Every game setting maxed out, with RT on Ultra (not Overdrive/Path Tracing, just ultra)

Just not sure if these franerates are good, I know most say keep the monitor overlays off and just enjoy what it does do, but I can't help but wonder if these temps, fps, and frame times are good for this hardware at these settings or not or if it's lower than average? Not that it's not perfectly smooth enough as is, just not sure. I just don't know how hardware at these settings is supposed to perform, I'm coming from an old 1050ti 2016 era optiplex rig, to this. Does anyone know if these are good?

How to install Rockstar Launcher on Linux (CachyOS)?

I own GTA V via the Rockstar Launcher. I wanna play it now that I'm switched to Linux (I'm aware online obviously doesn't work, but the Singleplayer does). I tried the Lutris method, the search Lutris for Community launchers option. I found the rockstar games launcher, set it up with where the prefix would be, what to call it, etc, clicked install (made sure to select the old standalone launcher from the options so it should install fine), it brings up a console screen where it shows everything it's doing, and in the video I watched (which was a year old but showed the same launcher download options in Lutris), where his brought up the installer screen, he went through it, it installed, and he could launch it after. Mine doesn't, the console eventually stops outputting text, says it's "done," but no installer screen ever came up, so nothing actually installed, but Lutris GUI comes up and says it's installed, so I tried clicking launch, obviously, it fails to launch because it can't find the launcher files. Because the installer never actually ran, and I tried making a new prefix folder and tried completely from scratch again too, did the same stuff, same result. The installer screen never shows, Lutris thinks it installed but can't launch the launcher because the files aren't actually there obviously.

Does anyone know any other actually working way to get the rockstar launcher installed, so I can then download and install GTA v and play it?

I don't know, this method should work but isn't.

Can anyone tell if my GPU is sagging at all?

It looks ok but I don't know if someone else has a better eye than me and can tell if it's sagging. It's got a sag bracket obviously but if that's not adjusted right, there could still be sag. It's a gigabyte gaming windforce OC 16g Radeon RX 9070XT, it's a heavy card so I figured the sag brace was necessary.

This new PC is an AMD Ryzen 7 9800x3d, AMD Radeon RX 9070xt, and 32 gb ddr5 ram.

The AIO I'm using is the MSI MAG Coreliquid A13 240 mm AIO. And the case is the Asus Prime AP201. And the motherboard is the ASRock B850M Riptide Wifi.

We sat the AIO correctly, and applied proper thermal paste.

I have felt the tubes near the pump while it's running, the tubes aren't even warm and I feel barely ANY vibration coming from the pump itself.

The pump is plugged into CPU_Fan1 (and the radiator fans are daisy chained onto the other case fans, but that won't affect the pump issue)... And CPU_Fan1 is showing at 2000+ rpm in the bios.

It should be spinning the pump properly enough to not rise to 100+ Celsius.

The first time I ran it, I had it sitting there while googling how to disable secure boot, and it just shut off, I'm only assuming it hit 110 Celsius there and probably just shit itself off. I waited a few, turned it back on, and watched it climb to 107 before deliberately turning it off.

Anybody know what's going on? Already had enough trouble getting the thing to initially power on. Now that it is I thought I could use it, but apparently not.

Coming from Windows, on my old system, moving to a brand new system, I don't know what way I should write my bootable USB for installing CachyOS specifically.

Ventoy, or Rufus (I want a simple one time installation), and if I do Rufus, on a modern system, do I wanna do ISO Image mode or DD Image mode? And would I wanna keep the default MBR selected or change it to GPT?

Just looking for help here. Heard iso Image mode on Rufus often causes incompatibility, and needs secure boot off, and so does DD mode.
