AIO Boyfriend is going on trip abroad alone

The situation is my boyfriend has a work trip/wedding abroad. He had originally invited me then trailed off, turns out he said he can't afford to bring me along. He did not ask if I could contribute to make the trip happen so we can go together. I just suddenly stopped hearing about any of the planning, until he gleeful told me he already booked his flight. His work engagement will be for around 2-3 days total. He then said he booked himself a flight to another country he has wanted to visit and is going on holiday for a week there alone. Am I overreacting to be hurt by this? I feel like he engineered this to go on holiday alone, he didn't even offer to have me join or catch up with him. When I brought it up he got angry and scoffed saying I could join if I wanted and that it didn't even cross his mind to try to make it work for us to go on vacation.

EDIT: I also told him if he goes on this trip alone, then I should be able to take a trip by myself. He immediately got upset and said if I do that I would be trying to "get even" and that
"fine youre single then if you go alone".
