This article by Vox shared some details about 1937 Pittman-Robinson act and how taxes from firearms and ammunition as well as other sporting items fund wildlife conservation. It’s interesting that current administration has been dampening both conservation efforts and has also shifted some on gun legislation. Besides other obvious reasons, is there enough evidence that anti-gun is anti-conservation or is that too much to say?
