Does KCL usually ghost job applicants

I applied for a few jobs 4-6 weeks ago and have been reaching out to HR and Hiring manager only to be ghosted and receive no rejection email. Shall i give up hope ?

Need honest advice for future

I have 8 months left on my Graduate visa in the UK, I have been employed full time for the entirety of my Graduate visa but not in my domain (My domain is Data) However i got a job in University IT AV Support [it pays okay but just 2k short of new entrant discount for Skilled Visa]. And unfortunately university predefined pay scales make it impossible for me to reach £33,400 salary threshold for new-entrant, which leaves me with only one option-to look for a new job.

What would be a better option i am confused. To aggressively search for AV Roles within UK to secure a sponsorship for roles around 35-40£k and buy myself time to upskill build projects and then later switch to Data roles in the UK/EU later while staying in the UK.

OR

save aggressively to go back to India and start over with whatever i can get using my UK savings + indian salary to survive and later look for a job in Bengaluru/Hyd/Pune/NCR.

I have BTECH CSE+ MSc DA + 4YoE (2 Yoe in infosys india + 2 Yoe UK).

To be honest i have given few Senior AV Role interviews in the UK in the last 5 months but they went terribly bad and never got an offer, and recent applications to University jobs have mostly ghosted me so i am exploring my options.

{alternatively i have also begun learning dutch as i qualify for 1 year orientation visa in netherlands due to my Uni}
