Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some advice on the summer housing market near campus.

I'm an incoming transfer student and I’m about to sign lease for a 4-bedroom private spot right at Zuma, but I will most likely be travelling/heading home during the summer. For people who have done this before is it actually possible to find someone to take over a room from late May through July, or is the market totally oversaturated with students doing the same thing?

I’m a transfer mechanical engineering major and the early registration for classes sounds great. Is it worth it for the price?

I'm looking for off-campus housing, preferably around $1300 with a private bedroom either walking distance or close to public transit. Is it too late to find good ones? It's my first time apartment searching.
