Mail theft case?
I ordered an item from a vendor and somehow in the process the wrong zip code was put on the order, one for same state but different city, likely an autofill from a previous address I lived at. Anyway, the street address with the zip code on the order is a nonexistent address. When I noticed the item was out for delivery in the wrong city, I called USPS and they informed me the item would be returned to sender as the address does not exist. Later that day, the tracking shows the package was delivered and signed for in my name. I understand USPS is not at fault for wrong address being on the order, but how could they have delivered something to an address that doesn’t exist? This seems like a clear mail theft case to me but having trouble dealing with them on this
