I have a MTD Pro Z2560 mower. When i got it I had no movement in the rear wheels. They were freewheeling even when the bypass was not engaged. The hydraulic tank was about 1/2 way full, I topped it off and it started to burp out the air. I got the left side to full speed, but the right side is at like 25% - 50% efficiency. I have been bleeding the air out for 2 hours and there was still air, I checked all the fittings they are tight. I cannot get the right side to move any faster. i took the linkages off to see if i can move the control link myself and get more out of it. I was able to move it but it was the same as it was hooked up. I changed the hydraulic fluid and filter, changed the drive belt, changed the hydraulic line that goes from the cooler to the filter housing. The hose that was on there was this weird aftermarket braided line on a barb, this line was able to move on the barb so my guess was it was sucking air. I put a new hydraulic line rated for 3500+ psi. My right wheel is still slow, It's better but not 100%. My left wheel spins at 100% efficiency. I disconnected the park brake from the hydro gear to see if that was my problem, and no change. I flipped the charge plate to see if that would be the problem, and that caused the wheel to no spin at all. So I flipped it back. Still at 50%. I have a Hydro-Gear BDR-306R. I cannot find out why I have the cap in speed.
