Hi. I have an old M1 Mini with 8gb of ram and 500gb storage. I do a lot of music production, video editing, and photo editing. Passion projects, not professional work. Video editing has specifically been a nightmare. Audio work has been manageable.

I think my computer mainly falls short because of only having 8gb of ram. I’m either going to upgrade to the M4 with 24gb or wait for the M5. But nobody knows when or if it’s coming. Anyone have experience with both M1 and M4? I’m confident it would be faster I just don’t want to regret not waiting for M5. Especially if the M5 drops in a month it will be the same price as the M4 is currently right?

I have this happen to me regularly with UPS and FedEx. I have a expensive package coming in the mail, it was automatically signature required. Although it’s expensive I try to avoid having signature required, because I’m never home to sign. I live in a safe area and I’m not worried about it getting stolen. UPS made two attempts to deliver this package literally within minutes of me getting home. The delivery notice number gives me ZERO options online. Can’t sign online, can’t request hold, can’t do anything. “Not available for this package” One more attempt and it’s being returned to sender. I mean wtf. Rant over

Title is kinda vague. But I’ve been in a band few a handful of years now. At first I was the younger new guy and honestly after a few years that feeling has never left. One of our members who basically formed the band pretty much has power and unwavering confidence that just trumps everyone else. I thought over time things would even out and we would all kind of have control over things but it doesn’t feel like it’s changed. I understand every band needs at least one person to be the unspoken “leader” or just be the personal to handle logistical things and press all the buttons. But it’s nearly to a point where it just feels like they feel the need to micromanage every single thing. What videos we post for promo, length of video, size of logos on videos. Writing has always been difficult for me to. They need to change everything to fit a vision they have or just scrap it. It never feels collaborative. I could be the problem who knows. Curious if anyone else has this experience.
