What was the point

I'm like you know what, since you have too many background processes to a point I can't even enjoy watching a video on VLC without stuttering, let me leave ya active for 24hrs. You install what you gotta install, solve whatever you gotta solve. It is windows 11 after all. Sounds like a good idea right?? WRONG

I've just rebooted now and I can't even press the start menu after reboot. Literally had to restart the whole explorer just to get it working.

I know what im about to list is perfectionist level but just bear with me

As said in the title im looking for a new music player. I had old version of groove music installed but because MS has now shoved forced updates on apps too, i wanna move away quietly.

The new music player im looking for is something similar to groove music.
Must have:

  • Good simple UI like groove music or hamonoid
  • Powerful EQ(Groove music didnt have good EQ but it was still pretty decent)
  • Good sort system(I simply prefer new songs on top, and old at bottom)
  • Play/shuffle all will actually add all songs in the playlist without cutting somewhere
  • Windows should recognise it as a music player(details will be told where i speak about MusicBee)

Features id love for the music player to have would be:

  • Transparency UI(Blur)
  • Lyrics show
  • Can be online to download missing data in songs
  • Not be high resource on windows

Apps ive tried that i dont like:

  • MusicBee
  1. Windows doesnt recognise it as a music player. If you click the system tray, above wifis and bluetooth options usually a music player widget shows. For MusicBee its not showing(Yes, it was installed so technically it should show)
  2. Its not necessarily about Win11 not recognising is as a music player but the fact that i have a music widget and it relies on windows recognising there is a music player playing
  3. The UI i dont like. Feels like scrolling on windows explorer plus the other day i took a whole hour trying to force sort music by New to Old.
  • Nagi
  1. Resource heavy. Literally made my laptop lag just loading songs(loaded songs for 2hrs btw)
  • Harmonoid
  1. I love this app but i didnt like the fact it had no equiliser. Plus there was an option called exclusive audio which bypass system volume and full blast device output(I can still feel my poor ear drums ringing because i was on headset)
  • Foobar2000
  1. Never tried but after seeing the UI screenshot. Yeah instant NO
  • AIMP
  1. Never tried this one too but i also dont like the UI based of the screenshots/video(youtube) i saw.
  • VLC
  1. I have it installed but this is strictly for video playing when it comes to me.
  • Media Player(Zune Music)(I dont even know why they decided to update to this thing but i dont like it. Anyways heres the list of things i dont like about this one)
  1. The UI sure is decent but i miss my transparency UI in groove music
  2. When clicking shuffle all, all songs are not inserted in the playlist. Example is, if you have 4000 songs, when you press play/shuffle all, only the top 1000 or so play and at this point youll even forget you have nostalgic songs to play
  3. It is resource heavy, and all that cause is because theres a video player as well. I dont want a video player. I want a simple music player thats light enough and powerful enough to not disrupt high end apps im using.

I know this is too much to ask and it does make me look like i want that perfect perfect app but what can i say. I honestly did not realise there is a huge gap in Windows when it comes to simple apps. Even if the app is not that popular, I am okay with it. Ive been living with Stellio Player on android for whats close to like 10years probably. Its honestly my perfect app on Android. Now all im hoping for is the perfect music player in Windows since microsoft is doing L decisions every year and wont even apologise for the decisions they make.

So basically my garage is full and somewhere I saw like garage storage and car storage. what's the difference between the two? so confusing. and lastly just a matter of, since I have 1200 gold, think I should blow all of it and maybe I might clutch a cool car?🤔
