Do you have "AFK spots" on your island?
I like to find a cute spot to rest whenever I have to step away from the game for a few minutes. Do you have designated spots, or do you just stand there?

I hate how short the cherry blossom season is and I am wanting to make many, many, many cherry-blossom-petal piles. Every time all of the trees become green again, from their pink blossomy selves, I feel a small piece of me die…so I keep going back in time again and again, perpetually living the same day over and over, like Groundhog Day in the spring. I’m sure I will eventually move forward after I am satisfied with the number of petal piles I have….it might be a while.
It was last minute so it's not that great..
Got excited cuz the terrain was identical to the rare 5% chance "money rock" island but I got clay and iron instead of juicy bells. Lucky me, yay.
Hello! I have a ton of bells to give away and I’ve never had visitors. Please feel free to visit, take some bells, shop and look around. Just comment here and I can send a code.
I have bells laid out to the left and right ride of my airport on the beaches.
Last night, it seems I had a bit too much wine and when I logged in this morning, it looks as if I sold my anniversary leaf statue like an absolute moron. I am so upset! I was thinking all morning on the perfect location on my island for it too, only to see my mistake. Everything online says I’m out of luck but I wanted the reddit experts to hear my plea. Anyway to get such an amazing item back?
I'm especially curious about arbitrary little rules that don't serve a practical in-game function, but feel free to share those that do!
Like, for some reason, I always think about what different things would smell like. Because of this, I don't put trash cans too close to seating, and I placed my Titan arum at the back of my island, far from any buildings :p
I also tend not to put things that don't seem waterproof next to the water, especially electronics and stuff made of paper. Similarly, I try to leave space between fire and flammables.
Obviously, these things don't have any actual consequences. I just think, when I'm trying to make a place feel lived-in, it helps to consider what might occur to me in a real, physical space.
Do you have anything like that? Any particular logic or aesthetic preference behind it, or just vibes?
I see a lot of giveaways and lovely people on here so I was wondering if anyone has some medieval style decor, wallpaper, flooring, furniture just anything they're be happy to give away.
I am pretty early in the game so I don't have a lot of bells or a lot to trade but I really want to make my island pretty, I'll attach inspo pics
it’s going to be a good day!!
i got them totally on accident!! thank you to the kind players who brought me flowers and watered them!!
Feel free to bring spare diys and look for new ones
Hello! I'm feeling quite stuck with my museum area. I have the general outline planned, but I'm not sure how to decorate this area. The left side of the museum is particularly difficult! I'm open to changing the paths if it means the area would flow better.
I would love some ideas/suggestions on how I could decorate this area please. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer :)
(The video includes the area 'before' the museum so you can see the kind of vibe I'm going for... basically my 'theme' is dark brown colours and white/pink flowers. Please also ignore the random garden shed and the farm area, which I'm planning to remove.)
I’m doing a bit of time travel for flower breeding so I’m got Becky in boxes until I need to move forward!
