How does this ribbon mechanism work? The two metal loop handle looking things only move inward. There was originally two drops of hot glue on either side that i have removed.
Pressing both sides as far inwards as possible doesn’t make anything moveable. Are the two metal lips supposed to fully clear the plastic? Is it supposed to flip upward? This is for viewsonic monitor
