Hey everyone! I’m moving into the Honors Village this fall. My major/hobbies involve a lot of heavy downloading (large datasets and media files), so I’m curious about the network quality there.

1. Are there active Ethernet/LAN ports in the rooms, or is it Wi-Fi only?

2. If there is LAN, what are the typical speeds (100Mbps or Gigabit)?

3. Does the university throttle speeds for high-volume users?

I have an TI-nSpire CAS right now but I do not know if graphing and all the functions are needed in college or not. If not needed, I will sell my TI-nSpire because it costs alot of money and I barely used it in highschool. If not Ti-Nspire, what calculator should I use?
