Long-time problem solver here. Spent about 10 years in consulting across a bunch of industries, which is basically just a fancy way of saying I've seen a lot of messes and helped clean them up. Systems Engineering background, somehow also ended up with an MBA and a Master's in Finance along the way. Yeah, I know.
When micro1 first came across my radar, I had no idea what to expect. The pitch of "train AI to solve problems" was vague enough to be skeptical about, but interesting enough that I figured it was worth a shot. Got onboarded in late November 2025 and have been at it since.
Honest take after about 6 months: it's been genuinely good. The work keeps you thinking. You're not just clicking through tasks on autopilot. The variety of problems you run into is real, and some of them push you in directions you didn't anticipate.
The community has been a pleasant surprise, too. People actually engage, share perspectives, and help each other think through things. That matters more than I expected.
Still early days for me, but so far no regrets. Happy I took the leap.
