Hiya, I'm 15 and suspected pots, eds and possibly something like fibro/mild CFS. I'm finally being seen by paediatrics after 2 years of back and forths with doctors, and I want to push for access for a wheelchair. I'm in year 10 but I'm on average missing 2-3 days a week due to pain and fatigue, whilst that's including me minimizing activity on the weekend to cope. Has anyone been through similar? Were you able to access one in the end? I'm not in a financial situation to afford one out of pocket, even a cheap one off Amazon or something that wouldn't be very fit for purpose. I'm pushing hard for one now, because I'll be doing exams soon, and I'm currently falling behind due to attendance and in a job for example in the future, this level of attendance would have me fired within a week.

Ive been compiling lists of symptoms I've experienced in the last 2 years when I'm able, as I believe my condition is also degenerative based on the way it's been going. I just have a feeling they will deny me access due to only part time need, and because I'm 'so Young' so I can't possibly be disabled. On the best days when I'm well, I can walk 10k steps no issue, but then other days I'm unable to get to the bathroom and back.

I also worry they'll deny me, because neither of my parents flats are wheelchair accessible. I likely wouldn't need use of one in the house, because I'd be able to manage my energy better to reduce bad days where I'm unable to walk.

Sorry for the long post

Tldr: physically disabled under 18 in the UK, tips for getting a wheelchair under NHS? I'm unable to walk 2-3 days a week. Apologies if this isn't the right place. I'm not asking if I should get one, I'm asking for tips on securing ond
