Hello,
I'm building a new computer (intended to have two RTX 3060 12GB, which I will later replace with 24GB GPUs each)
Other specs :
- motherboard : MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus
- cpu : ryzen 7 5800X
- power : Corsair RM1200E 80 plus gold
- ram only ddr4
Cpu, motherboard and power are new from Amazon
My problem : on easy debug, the white led "DRAM" remains static and white (even after 20 minutes)
What i tried :
- one stick in A2, one stick in each slot, one stick in A2 and one in B2, one stick in A1 and one stick in A2
- no ram
- flash a new bios using the flash bios button
- replace CMOS battery
All my cables seem to be properly connected
The only thing is that when I received the CPU, both pins were bent at the point indicated by the arrow in the corner, I straightened them out with a rubber clamp (with obviously paying attention)
I tried pretty much everything I saw on the internet, but without success...
The motherboard seems to be working; the RGB lighting on it works, and so do the RGB lighting on the fans and heatsink. The case's power LED lights up, the fans start spinning...
