A nice red on my natural nails to ring in the birthday

Hi. 2 years ago i stopped biting my nails and started to take care of them and leave them grow out. This is my current length but as you can see my cuticles are always infected after i get a manicure. The most annoying is the baby and thumb on right hand.

My nail tech is my wife and she accidently hurt those two fingers, so why they are worse.

How can this be helped?
