Getting bored talking

Recently, I'll be talking about something then become bored mid-sentence. In my mind, I've already finished the sentence and moved onto the next point. So, I get kinda bored of what I'm talking about because it turns more into an explaining thing to the person I'm talking to. I'm not interested anymore, so I explain it poorly (sometimes forget) and the other person looks incredibly confused lol.

Once the boredom sets in, while talking, I forget what is was talking about and it turns into a ramble (smh) Don't know why this happens. Any similar experiences

I was talking to my therapist today who believes that I have combined ADHD. I definitely see the signs, but I'm struggling to understand impulsivity. I've looked on google and through this forum. I just don't understand examples of impulsivity or executive dysfunction, despite being told I definitely show signs. I'm in college, so it's all starting to become more apparent for sure. I'm just trying to wrap my head around examples from childhood and now for a better understanding. It's hard to not think of impulsivity as doing something so outrageous and out of control (the stereotype which it obviously is not).

Anyways, what are some childhood or current examples you guys have of impulsivity and executive dysfunction?
