Hi! I recently just got diagnosed and have been trying to really pay attention to my sensory needs in this time. I've been experiencing a lot of burnout related to work and I find in this time that my sensitivity to noise has been super bad 24/7.

I have this tendency to read other people's accommodation recommendations and be like, nah, that won't work for me... but I finally got some earplugs and they're actually life changing. I find even at home subtle noise just sets me super on edge and with ADHD as well I can never seem to find the sweet spot between not feeling stimulated enough and feeling incredibly overstimulated.

But, popped those babies in and I feel a sense of calm I don't feel 99% of the time. I'm focused, I'm chillin. I feel great. I can't believe I put this off for so long. I've had ear plugs for concerts but never more than those cheap foam ones (sorry I hate them) and I think I will be wearing these forever all the time.
