Forgot to Pinch While Injecting
Hey all,
I've been on wegovy for about 3 months now, at the 0.5 dosage, side effects were giving me problems last month, wanted to stabilize before moving up again, going to be bumping up in 2 weeks been doing well otherwise, I'm down 24 pounds, and feeling better about myself. I'm still kinda having trouble socially when it comes to it, told a few close friends about it and they've viewed it as cheating, has kinda hurt my feelings. While I do still go to the gym, I'm limited in what I can do as I have severe asthma.
Anyways, let me actually get the point here. I just took my nightly injection and I forgot to pinch/grab a bit of fat. All the instruction videos I've seen say to grab some and inject. Nothing was really different, I felt the needle stick a bit more (small sting), other than that it went fine, still heard the medication release and felt it slightly, didn't feel any wet spots or leaks. Guess I'm trying to ask if this is okay and the medication is still going to work for this week? I've googled this, answers are mixed and somewhat unhelpful.
