I 17M work as a busser at a nice restaurant. There is this older girl ~23F drink runner. She’s conventionally attractive, and I would say I’m a little above average, just short (5’5). Recently she started to say hi to me when I arrive to work, and when I would stalk the bar or service bar. But only when it’s just me and her, not if anyone else was around. It’s happens like 3 times and she’ll say “heyy (my name), how are you”. The fist time she did this was a couple of months ago and I gave her a brief and uninterested response(not because was not interested in talking to her but because I am quiet and unsocial at work due to my former position as a stocker being separated from everyone and my own personality. As a busser in trying to work in this, but it’s kinda hard since people already know me as the quiet guy). Anyway, after that she stopped. But like I said she started saying hi to me again. I lowk fumbled again and didn’t have a good response in my head and I made it awkward. But I came back like 3 mins later and told her about me having to wake up early the next day to study. But it was more me telling her and no conversation, but she was interested in what I was saying. The next day she asked me if I woke up early, I responded and that was it. Besides that she doesn’t rly say anything else in the shift. As I said I’m seen as the quiet guy. I’m wondering if she’s giving me pity, being friendly, or flirty.
