Might be a bit of a weird question but let me explain. Today I had the opportunity to take a walk around the countryside I grew up in. And during that walk I got a massive nostalgia trip while passing some houses. A lot of that nostalgia being connected to Tekken 3 especially.

  • "Oh Lucas lived here, he mained Julia."
  • "Michael parents probably still live here. I remember when we organised a small Tekken Tournament together"
  • "Oh yeah, we called this guy Bear. He played Paul"

And it hit my that a lot of my fond childhood memories are connected to fighting games. Tekken 3 especially (also Virtua Fighter 1&2 and Soul Edge). This was all like 25+ years ago and apparently I still remember it.

Cheers to anyone that grew up with Tekken.
