Hong Kong to London 777-300ER ~14 hours and really value having no one behind us. Do these seats recline? Being near the toilets isn’t a huge issue for us but limited recline on a 13 hour flight would be.
Looking for some advice on a grinder upgrade.
Current setup: Lelit Mara X and a DF54 (no issues with clumping or static).
My partner makes a flat white every morning and would appreciate an easier workflow. I drink 1-2 flat whites a day, with 3 or 4 drinks split between long blacks, V60 and Aeropress for work. We use the same medium roast bean for all our milk drinks and this very rarely changes. I play around more with lighter roasts for my other drinks and V60/Aeropress.
I was considering getting a Mazzer Philos to replace the DF54, but it struck me that I could potentially keep the 54 for lighter roasts and then get a grind-by-weight grinder with a hopper for our go-to medium roast, making it easier for my partner. Something like the Mazzer Mini G or similar.
Two questions:
1. Am I overthinking this?
2. Any suggestions for good grind-by-weight grinders under £1k?
