Finally getting my first job out of medical school. Moving into a ~15’ x 11’8” bedroom in a high-rise. Two quirks I’m trying to design around: Structural column near the window, closet/bathroom door on the opposite short wall.

Looking for layout ideas, especially how to use the column as a feature rather than fight it. Going for a calm, warm, well-lit vibe. Floor plan + photos in comments. Thank you!
