Next year’s draft is a great QB draft but who would be left for us with our late 30’s pick? Say all the worthwhile QB’s are gone by then, then what? We can’t just manifest a trade that favors us to get the QB (i.e. Burrow) that we desire.

The more I think about this pick the more it makes sense. It’s not how I’d have drawn it up with 13th overall but it makes sense. Offense isn’t our issue; if we had stronger secondary last year we win the SB. We have excellent corners now. On the flip side, once Stafford retires and we have no answer at QB then all the talent around the roster means nothing at all.
