Hi everyone - still planning my photography trip to the highlands for this upcoming late July/august. Last time I visited, back in 2022 - I don't believe there was a reservation system for parking.

I am still working out plans and going to Landmannalaugar is something I intend on doing but I am not sure what day(s) - could be weather dependent while I am there. I will be there at the end of midnight sun - so I would think id be getting there after 4pm or before 9am. However, I am looking for suggestions - do I just pre-book a few possible days that I might be there or can I wait till much close to our departure time and / or book when I get there?

thanks

Hi everyone,

I have a mini pro 3 that I don't use very much. However, I was in Iceland (highlands) back in 2023 and loved using it. I liked the video quality- but thought the stills were somewhat lacking. which brings my to my current dilemma. I keep thinking about buying a Mavic Pro 4 (currently still can purchase in the US at some online shops) however, the lack of any dji care makes me quite nervous. Admittedly, I am a novice drone pilot but I am a photographer- so the quality does matter to me. I am trying to rationalize buying a $4000 drone with no insurance coverage for hopefully, better stills quality for my return trip to Iceland this summer. I am not sure how much use it will get after the trip. I am hoping someone can help me make an actual rational decision on the purchase based on all the factors above.

thanks

Hi. Looking for some replacement batteries for my mini pro 3. Does anyone have any recommendations ?
Dji or third party brands?
I saw a few choices on amazon besides the dji ones.
Wasn’t sure if I should trust any other brand

Thanks
