Looking for a reputable online seller (ideally US-based). Google floods search results under pages and pages of sketchy eBay sellers padded whose products I wonder are counterfeit placebos.

Currently restoring a bunch of intel-era iMacs, average spec 8/500 ram/drive. Most drives are rotational, and will be partitioned 4:1 or 3:2 mac/linux, with linux the latter, smaller partition. Will be using rEFInd bootloader. Usage: these will largely be home-use by people with zero CL experience.

Distro requirements:

* Mac drivers (including wifi) out-of-box

* Pleasing GUI appearance

* Very low background disk usage

* Auto-mounts Mac volumes

* Supports drag/drop copy/write to Mac volumes (assume permission granted Mac-side)

If these require manual adjustments, the settings must not be lost during updates.
