Calling all car-free dog-owning urbanites! What do you use to safely travel by taxi/rideshare with your pup? I don't live in NYC, but I figured if anyone would have some solid recommendations it would be New Yorkers!

If the stars align, I'll be bringing home an English Setter puppy in the early fall. I don't drive or have a car, so I would love any recommendations for a carrier/crate/harness/whatever that will keep my pup safe in the unlikely event of a car accident but will also be fast and easy to get in and out of a rideshare or taxi. Thanks!
