I’ve today taken a couple of flights with Qantas and arrived at my destination ahead of my checked bag. Qantas acknowledged that they offloaded bags from my last flight due to weight allowance and my bag was one of these. It did make the first flight.
I also know that others who made the same connection had their bags.

Just wondering if anybody has experienced a similar instance of QF offloading bags of Platinum FF (or other high ranks)?
It’s not the end of the world but I would have thought that this is the kind of situation where QF would prioritise their higher ranked FFs.
