Started happening to my parents TV recently, no known impacts or other damage to TV. Is this a Tcon board or other repairable fault or should i just buy them a new TV? TV is a Samsung UA50AU7002S

The wires for the front ABS on my bike were rubbing against the plastic sheath, presumably since I first got it, and one finally snapped completely. Annoyingly it's broken off right at the connector on the ECU side, so I can't just replace the front sensor and I can't use a butt connector either. I've cut the other wire in the same place and disassembled the connector but I can't find the correct crimp terminal to fit the connector. So I'm looking for advice on how to proceed, do I just buy a new connector and crimp terminal set and replace the whole connector? Do I use spade terminals and just bypass the connector entirely? Hell, I suppose I could just solder the damn thing together and be done with it. What's the best option for getting this fixed?
