Hey all! I'm going to finally go through with setting up my name change, tired of having awkward exchanges at the BMV. In the past I started the process but couldn't afford it, thankfully I'm in a better spot now. I will put my application in after I sign the lease to my new apartment.

My question is mostly this: What were some unexpected hurdles/situations that came up when you got your name changed? I'm prepared on having to update social security/banks/insurance/student loans but is there anything else I should keep in mind?
