My hatred for this commercial can barely be put into words. I hate the song (back in the early 2000s it was #1 on a VH1 countdown of the worst rock songs of all time), I hate the new lyrics, I hate the imagery...it has zero redeeming qualities. And it seems like it airs during every single break on Food Network. It makes me wanna burn down a Georgia-Pacific warehouse.

Nara Judo Cake

I've followed this sub for a long time and been jealous because in that time I've never really dreamed about food. But the other night, my time finally came, although it's not very exciting, to be honest, and I have z e r o Photoshop or even general artistic skills, so this is all you get.

I was with some other people (could've been a hangout, could've been a meeting of some kind...I don't remember) and someone pulled out a "Nara Judo" cake. It looked like one of those Greek busts that are in a lot of Vaporwave images (or at least that's the context I thought of it in in the dream) but a little bit...vertically compressed and more square, but it definitely had a neck. I think it was chocolate cake, and it was iced with alternating horizontal stripes of chocolate and vanilla buttercream. It was made apparent to me that there are other "Nara" cakes out there, as if that's the brand and this was the "Judo" model. I did see a picture in the dream of another Nara cake that was just kind of a...rounded triangular prism-ish lump with the same chocolate/vanilla icing but it had shapes (basic polygons like a square, circle, triangle, etc.) piped on in red, blue, and yellow gel. It looked like it was for children or something, with the simple shapes and primary colors. I don't remember what specific kind of Nara cake this was, though.

she’s a middle school science teacher, hence the name (my cousin, not Beakers, just in case there’s any confusion)
