I (24f) have been with both men and women and I’ve never been cheated on by a man but for some reason, I’ve been cheated on by every woman I’ve been with?! I’ve noticed other sapphics largely having this same problem and cheating/non monogamy being hugely prevalent within sapphic spaces? I’ve known lesbians who brag about having 5+ side chicks, being players, etc. and bi and bi-curious women who will immediately run back to men and male exes the second they get the chance? (I think the bi women thing probably has to do with internalized homophobia and societal pressure), but why? Why is it so hard to find a monogamous, queer woman, who has no problem spending the rest of her life with another woman?!
