We’re getting married next year and have made the decision that only close family children (nieces and nephews) are able to attend our wedding day, but we would like them collected as evening guests arrive. They aren’t flowers girls or page boys but will be involved in all the pictures and fed etc. we are getting back lash from my partners side of the family (grooms side) for this. I don’t think it’s suitable for young children to be at the evening when there are 140 drunk guests? Children become tired and unsettled and we would like all our adult friends to relax and have fun. Is this unreasonable?
