Muscle garage - airport road. How is it?

I was thinking of joining a gym and the nearest one for me is the muscle garage gym on the airport road.

I saw review on google and some reviewers had really bad experience with the receptionist and some said the equipments are now worn out.

My questions to someone who goes there:

  1. Whats the price?

  2. Is it good enough?

  3. Are evenings (around 9pm) crowded?

Bacancy Technology keeps coming up whenever someone asks about good IT companies in Ahmedabad.

Their Glassdoor ratings look decent, their LinkedIn presence is polished, and they seem to be hiring constantly.

But here is what I actually want to know:

  • Is the experience as good as their reputation suggests or is it just good marketing?
  • How is the actual work culture vs what is projected on LinkedIn?
  • Are salaries competitive or below Ahmedabad market standard?
  • Is the constant hiring a growth sign or a turnover problem?
  • How is the management? approachable or the usual corporate disconnect?
  • Work from home policy? flexible or just on paper?

Current employees, former employees, people who interviewed there all perspectives welcome!!

Not trying to bash them or praise them. Just want real honest answers that job seekers in Ahmedabad can actually use.

You know exactly what I am talking about.

You are in an interview and the hiring manager leans forward and says "Hamare yahan family jaisi culture hai."

And somewhere inside you already know what that means.

No fixed hours. Weekend pings. Leave requests that get "approved" but somehow never actually happen. Salary conversations that get avoided with "we take care of our people."

But here is what I genuinely want to know: Has anyone in Ahmedabad actually worked at a company that said "family culture" and actually meant something good by it?

Or is it always the same story?

Drop your experience below: good, bad, or somewhere in between. Curious to know if any Ahmedabad company is actually different.

We have all been there: sitting in an interview and something feels off but you cannot quite put your finger on it.

What is that one thing that immediately tells you this company is not worth joining?

Could be something the interviewer said, how they treated you, the office vibe, how they talked about salary, anything.

Drop it in the comments.

I will go first in the comments.

Posting this because salary transparency in digital marketing is almost nonexistent in Ahmedabad and it hurts freshers and mid level professionals the most during negotiations.

Drop your numbers below:

Role: (SEO / SEM / Social Media / Performance Marketing / Content / Digital Marketing Manager etc.)

Years of experience:

Company type: (Agency / Product / Startup / Corporate)

CTC or in hand (approximations will work) (whatever you are comfortable sharing):

No need to name your company if you are not comfortable.

Let's build a salary reference that actually makes sense for Ahmedabad's market.

Hello Amdvadi tech people!

When I started my career in 2018, I interviewed for a company called Citta Solutions (Thaltej) for SEO executive role. They offered me INR16,000/month as a starting salary (CTC).

I was wondering how much are freshers in digital marketing and even dev roles are receiving.

Let's help each other out so no uninformed fresher gets unfair salary.

Company: CodeTrade India Pvt Ltd

Industry: IT

Area: SBR, Ahmedabad

Role: Senior Marketing Position

Would Recommend: Absolutely not

I rarely write reviews but this experience was bad enough that I feel other job seekers in Ahmedabad deserve to know what they are walking into.

--

HOW IT STARTED

The HR was extremely friendly during the hiring process.

Promised full autonomy, spoke highly of the work culture, and painted a picture of a professional, growth oriented environment.

None of it was true.

If you are interviewing here, be very careful about what you share with their HR. Treat every conversation as if it is being reported directly to management.

Because it is.

--

THE REALITY ON THE GROUND

The autonomy promised never existed. What I experienced was not even micromanagement, it was nanomanagement.

Every decision, every small task, every idea was questioned, overridden, or dismissed without explanation.

Targets were unrealistic and changed frequently with no logical basis. When you could not meet a target that was set unrealistically to begin with, that became a reason to demean you.

There is zero ownership given despite what is promised during interviews. The gap between what is sold to you and what you actually experience on day one is significant.

--

THE CEO

This is the part I want to be very direct about because I want other professionals especially those joining in senior roles to know what they are signing up for.

The CEO's behaviour was openly disrespectful. Shouting was not rare, it was a pattern. Remarks were humiliating in nature, often disguised as feedback or casual conversation.

Personal boundaries were regularly violated in ways that felt targeted and deliberate.

This is not a management style issue. This is a basic professional conduct issue.

--

HR

No proper onboarding. Was expected to hit the ground running with zero context, zero handover, and zero support.

When issues were raised, HR was either unavailable or dismissive. The exit process was equally messy: unclear, delayed, and handled with the same unprofessionalism that defined the entire experience.

--

THE ONLY POSITIVE

The office location is convenient. That is genuinely the only positive thing I can say.

--

WHY I LEFT

A combination of the shouting incidents, the CEO's disrespectful behaviour, complete violation of basic professional boundaries, and an HR that existed only on paper.

No job is worth your dignity.

--

TO ANYONE CONSIDERING JOINING

Ask very specific questions about reporting structure and autonomy before accepting. Do not share anything personal with their HR. Talk to current or former employees if you can find them before joining.

I am sharing this so someone else does not go through what I went through. Ahmedabad's job market is growing and professionals deserve better workplaces than this.
