Hello all, I am looking for a casual, semi-literate-to-literate RP partner who may be interested in long-term roleplay. This is for a very niche special interest of mine that I have been roleplaying for many years now.
This is a story-based RP with slice-of-life and adventure/dramatic themes. The scenario is that we are plush, plastic, or otherwise toy-esque characters trying to survive in a world full of humans, furry/anthros, or both—basically, Toy Story/Living Toys trope with OCs. Toy versions of ‘canon’ characters are allowed. An example is a Marvel or Star Wars action figure.
With the Slice of Life aspect, our characters are simply living out their day-to-day lives as toys, getting played with by their owners, and making them happy.
With the Adventure/Drama aspect, we can explore the secret lives the toys live out when their owners aren't looking. The dangers of being ‘just a toy’. The stakes, the thrills, interpersonal relationships, and dramas between plastic action figures and plush animals.
There is plenty of world-building already done, and I do like to plan out the plot ahead of time, but I also enjoy a bit of improv along the way. I am hoping to do multiple ‘episodes’ of this roleplay.
Right now, I am semi-active. I might disappear at times, either due to work or just playing games. My time zone is EST.
