I want to first say anyone that can do well on stripchat has big respect from me.

I put a lot of time and effort into stripchat and it didn’t pay off for me.

I did ok if I got private shows but the public chat was a disaster.

I only got traffic if I was totally naked and fucking myself, which I don’t want to do without tips. So it became a bad cycle, of no viewers.

Sitting sexy, smiling, being engaging, asking questions did not work for me at all.

Glad to put sc behind me because I wasted so much of my time and effort there

Often times I wonder if things would be more lucrative for us cam models if all porn was behind a pay wall.

Id love to hear opinions and thoughts on this?

I know SM (private site) has been around for over 20, PH for like 18, CB for 15 and SC for 10.

But I often wonder how porn just became so accessible for free and it just became the norm.

It seemed to create too easy access and devalue online sex work.

The age verification laws are making it harder to access for some, but it’s still available to view for free if they submit their Id.

What was the reason for allowing access to free porn like we have now?

The token sites in particular?

Stripchat has been brutal for me this week.

I put in a very long shift Thursday for basically nothing and was so burnt out Ì slept most of Friday and took the day completely off.

I thought I’d log in bright and early today with a fresh start, and streamed for 1.5 hours and made 49 tokens which just tanked my stripscore once again!

I don’t know what to do at this point except to stay off stripchat for awhile.

Im not getting much traffic at all anymore and it’s mostly lurkers and one token tippers.

I noticed something really troubling on Stripchat and this is not the first time Ive had this happen!

I stopped my stream but still had my laptop open and was still logged in!

I noticed more traffic in my room than when I was actually live!

So I checked the site and it still should be live in the last pose I was on!

This continues for over 15 minutes till I finally shut my computer down!

I don’t allow greys to chat ever anymore.

But it would be nice to have users with tokens chat and engage rather than be passive all the time.

Its a big issue for me on stripchat where I try to create an engaging room by asking users questions and trying to be friendly, but it just does not seem to work for me on stripchat.

Even with addressing the users by name Ì get no response. They all just choose to sit and remain in the room passively!

I find it very frustrating.

Is it better to just not talk?

Im at a loss how to create a fun engaging room on SC when the user base is so passive?

It makes me want to log off.

How do you deal with a totally passive room? How do you not get angry when everyone just wants to watch for free and not even be friendly?
