This is a 6inch RES male. I need to know ASAP if he has pneumonia, today I got him a new tank, and put him in it, thats when I saw white stringy things floating in the water, I asked Gemini and it said it was a big sign of pneumonia, additionally it has not been eating anything in the past 3 days, I gave it shrimp, and assortment of chopped veggies, and a turtle food mix I bought from petco. Because I got this turtle 3 days ago, I didn't have a tank a heater or a filter, so I put in a little amount of water, enough for it to still stand, but mostly submerged. Day 2 owning it was when I noticed the mucus. Additionally it always had its head all the way up. So after searching up things I can do, I have just ordered a heat and UVB light with the fixture, a water filter, basking platform, and a water heater. As of now I have put it into my houses half bathroom, with a mini heater on, and put it into a bucket with now water and put it on top of layers of paper towels. Unfortunately the animal vets are extremely far away from me, and I have to go to work tommorrow. Any quick segestions on its survival and what things I can do to help. And is it even sick? I took the photo before I cleaned the turtles poop from the bucket. I am also a new turtle owner. But when I moved the bucket slightly the turtle had instant reflects, it started tryign to crawl out.
