I'm coming from a Sony XBR-75X900F, so I haven't shopped around for new TVs in years. I'm considering stepping up to an 85" or something in between. I sit about 10ft from my TV. I watch mostly streaming TV/Movies, no gaming. I'd like to stay around or below $2k. What are my best options? Is there anything that just came out I should look at? Thanks!
I've tried all the troubleshooting steps but it wont turn on. I have read all the threads on here about it and many say to replace the main board or power board. Is there any way to test which could be the problem before ordering the parts? Or should I just replace them both?
Also, is this worth fixing? Despite being relatively old, it's still an amazing TV, I have no complaints at all. The parts come out to just under $200. If that will fix it for sure, I'm willing the spend that, but if it's crapshoot I'm not sure if I want to spent the time and money to try fixing it. Thanks
