Hi everyone. I got engaged last year, and we were supposed to get married this year —but this whole engagement season has been really difficult and stressful. Plans haven’t worked out, there have been a lot of opinions from in-laws, and even navigating support within our church has been challenging.
I just wanted to ask—has anyone else experienced this during engagement? Is this kind of stress normal, or does it feel like a red flag? For those who share the same faith, how do you discern if these challenges are just part of the process or signs that you shouldn’t move forward with the wedding?
