So here it is. Just bought a Eureka mignon zero. Found the zero. 1st bag dark roast, initially was ~ 6 full steps away from zero. Got good 2:1 in 20-30 seconds. Then they started pulling fast so I had to go down 1 full step to get back to my ratio ( weird that this changed) anyway onto bag 2. Medium roast and it has taken me down another 4.5 fulls steps to get a decent cup. Ther is only about 0.5-0.75 steps left before I hit zero. I am worried that if I get a light roast I won't be able to dial it in?

Retention wasnt bad with the coarser grind ~0.1-0.2 grams. Now at the finer setting it was off by a full gram.

Does this sound normal for having to make such a large adjustment between dark and medium roast?
