I’m old enough to remember when watching this movie was the absolute peak of comedy. Whether with friends or family, everyone could laugh at the ridiculousness of the scenes and see how the movies mocked, but directors genuinely cared for the movies they were making fun of. To me, Scary Movie’s 1, 2, and 3 are absolute peak comedy for the mid 2000’s. I hope they can find this magic again without being too over the top.
