This has been happening off and on for a while now. Previously a power cycle or input change a few times would fix it but now it’s not going away. It shows up regardless of input, hdmi cable, pixel cleaning doesn’t fix it and hard power cycle (unplugged for several minutes) didn’t do anything.

I have read that the fix is generally a panel replacement and that it is generally cheaper to just buy a new TV. Is that true? Any other tips for a potential fix?
